He also directed officials to inspect pothole-prone areas and finish necessary repairs ahead of the deadline. A contingency plan was also mandated to address any potholes that may emerge during the rainy season.
The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner (Zone 2) Prashant Rode, representatives from the Traffic Department, Metro Authority, MMRDA, and other departments.

Commissioner Rao emphasized that executive engineers from ward committees must ensure that all pothole-prone roads and flyovers within the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) area are repaired or concretized using advanced, high-quality techniques.
Metro Project Coordination
Ongoing metro construction must be expedited to minimize delays. Authorities were instructed to clear construction debris immediately to level road surfaces and ensure smooth traffic movement.

Water Pipeline Works
The Water Supply Department was directed to complete the ongoing water pipeline installation near Dosti Imperia as soon as possible. Commissioner Rao emphasized proper planning to avoid disruptions.
Pending Infrastructure Projects
Authorities were asked to compile a report on delayed civic infrastructure projects due to funding shortages. Commissioner Rao suggested seeking financial assistance from Transport Minister and local MLA Pratap Sarnaik to ensure the completion of these projects.
