MNS Leader Avinash Jadhav Resigns as Thane and Palghar Chief, Accepts Responsibility for Election Defeat

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Avinash Jadhav has stepped down as the chief of Thane and Palghar districts, taking accountability for the party’s poor performance in the recent assembly elections.

Jadhav, who contested against BJP’s sitting MLA Sanjay Kelkar in the Thane assembly constituency, acknowledged his role in the party’s defeat. The MNS fielded 125 candidates across Maharashtra but failed to win a single seat, leading Jadhav to take responsibility for the lackluster results in Thane and Palghar.

This resignation marks a significant moment for the MNS, as the party faces challenges in rebuilding its influence in the region.
