In preparation for the smooth conduct of the elections, the Thane Transport Servicewill deploy a large portion of its fleet for election-related responsibilities.

According to official information, nearly 75% of the city’s transport buses will be assigned for election duty between January 14 and January 15, 2026. The election is being conducted by the Thane Municipal Corporation, and authorities have assured that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure a smooth and orderly voting process for residents of Thane.
